Vintage Days

Jaclyn and I took our kids to Vintage Days at Fresno State this weekend!
I like Vintage Days better than Big Hat Days or Farmers Market because you can buy an unlimited kid pass for $5!!! That's crazy cheap!
Mallory and Brixton had a blast!
They rode the horses 3 times! (At Big Hat Days each ride was $7!!), they went to the petting zoo, jumped in the bounce house and down the slide, ate snow cones and got balloons!
What a fun day!
(Colton and I visited the First5 breastfeeding friendly bus! That was actually so nice! I was able to stay longer at Vintage Days because I wasn't rushing home/car to feed!)

Now that Colton is older, I am loving being able to put him in the shopping cart at different stores!
Costco's shopping cart is the VERY BEST because they have two slots! Mallory doesn't need to be in the cart and most of she prefers to walk but it makes it so much nicer for me to not have to worry about her! Plus look at these two cuties! They love to be together!

Thursday night I went to Cheesecake Factory with a few girls from church to celebrate Shalee's new baby boy! We had a great time!

Swim Lessons

Yay! It's that time of year again! I LOVE the summer season!
There is something about the sun shining that just brightens my spirits!
Mallory did swim lessons at Jan Thomas Swim School 2 summers ago and it did not go so well! She cried the whole 10 lessons! She was just way too little! I skipped last summer because frankly, I just didn't want to deal with the screaming. This year, we were able to score half-off lessons and so I signed my little girl up! She cried the first few lessons but now she is AMAZING! Yay! She is smiling, jumping, waving and making friends!
Mallory's teacher is Samantha Hansen. Sam is a sweet girl and she has been great with Mallory!
Here are a few pictures off the camera!
I took a bunch on my phone that I will post soon too!

So glad that she is finally able to swim! Can't wait to go use Nonna's pool!!

7 Months Old & a Bow-Tie!

Colton is 7 months old this week!!
He did not have a physical appointment this month so we don't know exact measurements but I did weigh him and he is 17.5 pounds! Holy Cow!
I attempted to trace his hand and foot prints but he wasn't really allowing it!
Colton still LOVES to eat! He has been eating waffles with strawberry jam with me in the mornings and he even tried raviolis at dinner the other night! He loves graham crackers and veggie straws!
He still drools a lot even though he doesn't have any teeth! Ha. Silly boy has been drooling since he was 3 months old for fun!
He loves to take baths with Mallory and I. Thank heavens! Colton hated the bath time in the sink but does great in the big kid tub where he can sit up. He even enjoys "tea party" time with Mallory.
He is attempting to crawl more and more everyday! You can tell my these pictures that he is on the go! I sat him down and he immediately rolled over! I posted a video on Facebook of his attempts to crawl!!
Colton did visit Dr Jones this last week though for a small cold and a tiny sinus infection. I thought he had an ear infection because he has been pulling on his right ear a lot but maybe he just now discovered his ears?! So thankful he is pretty healthy! (Maybe, it's because I'm still breastfeeding?)

Mallory and Colton before church!
Mallory has been wanting to wear her hair "up" like Mommy lately! Poor girl has short hair but we have been rocking a tiny top pony with a cute bow!
Colton got a new bow tie from Little Mr. Isn't it the cutest!
I love them so much, I bought 3 more! I originally bought 2 but I need more to give away as gifts!

Little Mr has really impressed me.
The bow-ties are so much easier than traditional bow-ties. They simply button onto any button-up shirt! There is no strap or clip! I love them!!
They have a few cute colors but I chose to Gray! So handsome!

What we've been up to!

Papa Stan came over to visit after dropping Uncle Brad off at the airport!
Mallory played on the swing and talked his ear off!
We went to Nonnas & Papas for Sunday dinner. Mallory decided it is warm enough to swim! Crazy Girl! The boys had a great time "talking" to each other in their matching white onesies!
We went to Woodward Park to feed the Ducks! It was fun! I was all worried there weren't going to be any ducks but there was a ton! They were attacking us too! Ha! They know what's up!
After we fed the ducks, we let the kids play on the slides for a bit!
Then Mallory fell and scrapped her knee while running! She seriously cried for a half hour! I tried and tried to make her feel better but every time she looked down it would start all over! She just really wanted a band-aid to make it better!
My cute little kids love to take a picture for Daddy every day and text it to him! Mallory loves to love on Colton! Its very cute!
We went over to Stephanie & Tuckers new house! The kids had a great time playing and feeding the ducks in her complex!

A few pictures from this week!

We tried Popeye's this week! The fried chicken was great! I'm not sure I like it more than KFC but it was good!
We went to the park between Conference sessions. The kids enjoyed the sun and fresh air!
Our friends, Beau & Lindee, are in town this month! We took them to our favorite place! Amy and her two kids were in town too! Stephanie and Tucker were also able to make it to Dusty Buns! We had a great time catching up and meeting sweet baby London! Yay!
Mallory has been more adventurous in music class lately! We only have 3 lessons left for this semester! :(
I was asked to decorate a table this weekend for women's conference! The theme was "brilliant at the basics"! We were to pick a gospel principal and do a table based on that! I chose "Faith". I think it turned out pretty darn cute! There were sooo many other cute tables!
Mimi Kim helped us with some flowers. She also made Mallory her own little arrangement! Mallory loves them!
Dustin wanted to take his airplane out to fly so the kids and I tagged along.
It was a beautiful spring night!
A dove decided to make her nest on our meter box! Ha! I saw 2 eggs in her nest when she was out! Dustin wanted to move the nest but I'm personally excited for the eggs to hatch!
We went with Papa & Nonna to PetsMart to get their dogs some food and also to let Mallory look at the animals! She loves it! Colton was pretty entertained by the fish too! After the store, we went to Jamba Juice. Mallory loves Jamba! Colt does too. Ha. I spooned some in his mouth and he cried for more! Hes so funny! Colton LOVES to eat!
Love our growing kids!
PS. Colton is currently only 5/6 pounds lighter than Mallory! Haha!

Weekend!

We had another fun week and weekend!
Mallory has been insisting that her babies sleep with her during nap time! It's very cute! She tucks them all in and tells them she loves them! I love how she tells them the same things that I tell her. Its very cute! It has also made me more aware that she is really picking up on the little things now! I'm trying to be more careful about what I say... at least around her! Ha!
Colty is getting better and better everyday at sitting up on his own! Yay!
We had Bryn & Brixton over to play! The weather has been great! The kids enjoyed a little Taco Bell & McDonalds! :)
Mallory and I ran to Michael's crafts store for a little mother/daughter time. Daddy stayed home while Colton slept. Mallory is in love with suckers! We had to have a bath when we got home!
The best part about having 2 kids verses 1 kid, is how well they entertain each other! Mallory is really good about talking to Colton and trying to make him laugh! Its very cute! Makes the car rides a little easier since Colton hates the car and won't take the pacifier!
Mallory loves to hold Colton. He is only 6 pounds lighter than Mallory now! Ha!
Mallory is still in Kindermusik class. She still really enjoys it. Dustin was off this last week, so I was able to take Mallory by myself. It was really nice to be able to focus just on her.
Mallory has been letting me put bows in her hair again this week! Thank heavens! I LOVE bows but Mal hadn't been into as much until lately. We bought 3 new bows this week. Very cute! They are tiny bows, which is definitely not my style but I figured we should have a few different types just for fun.
I made a pineapple upside down cake in my cast iron skillet this week for Dr Bogle's birthday!
I enjoyed it so much, I made it an additional 2 times! Ha! Each time I changed the recipe a little. I think I finally have it perfect!
Our little family went out to Yoshinos on Dustin's day off. There was no one there! So nice. The kids did great! Colt enjoyed some rice!
The kids and I went to Big Hat Days with Aunt TeeTee. Uncle Chad & Daddy went to the Gun Show. Mallory got to ride the horses! She was in heaven. She had the best time. I loved her smiling face. We rode it twice then went to get corn dogs and drinks. We looked around for a bit and then came back to ride the horse. Mallory was on her 3rd ride and the lady behind us said her daughter was too scared so she gave us her ticket so Mallory got to stay on for a 4th ride. Well they were running a special for buy 4 rides, get 1 free. As Mal was getting off her 4th round, the man asked me if this was Mals 4th ride (he recognized her) and I said yes and so she got to stay on for another round! My goodness. She had a great time!
