Family Pictures

The Tanner side of the family took new family pictures this week. My brother is home now and my sister got married since the last family photo. My mom blows up one picture of the family every two years to place over her fireplace. Heres the fam!

Steel Blue

I finally painted our Master Bedroom! I love it! We choose "Steel Blue" by Behr paint! I really wanted the blue because it matched so well with the new bed spread we got at JCPenny home store. I love changing up my room!! Yay!

Pismo

This last weekend we went on vacation to Pismo!! We had such a great time! Probably one of the best times I have had there! We went with some of our friends. One of our friends, Tiffany, had never been to Pismo Beach so it was really exciting for her! We went to Splash Cafe, Moes BBQ, walked on the beach, walked out on the pier in the dark, saw bio-lumencents waves, rode 4-6 person Bike for an hour (Crazy hard), got a 7/11 slurpee (because we almost died riding that bike!!) sat in the Hot Tub/swam in the heated pool (in the hotel next door because our hotels was under construction, ate some Salt Water Taffy, saw the cutest dogs (I really wanted to get one), got a Manicure/Pedicure, went to the Outlets, had dinner at Spencers brothers house, & saw the Monarch butterflies! We packed a lot in on our 3 day trip!

Gratitude

Thanksgiving is just around the corner and I can't help but think of my Dads talks. Before Thanksgiving dinner every year, my dad asks everyone around the table to share a few things we are grateful for. I know that sometimes it can be hard to share what you are grateful for but those people you are grateful for should be told. A few things that I am grateful for:
1. Husband who loves and supports me 2. A good Job 3. A healthy family
I hope that this year as we go thru November/Thanksgiving that we might be able to share with others our gratitude!

Halloween

Every year (for the past 4 years), Dusty and I have gone to my Uncle Jarrods house to participate in his haunted house. Dustin loves it! Mostly because he gets to scare little kids! I like to go because I get to see all the little kids we know and see how cute they are! So the girls pass out candy and the boys scare the little kids and sometimes big kids!

Tahoe

We are brand new owners to a 2003 Chevy Tahoe!!! We have been looking around and on craigslist for a while and finally found a good one! It has all the features including OnStar, a Moon Roof & Leather seats! An older gentleman owned it and it looks brand new! Apparently, the backseats have never really been sat in! You can tell! It looks great!!! We love it!!


Before Dusty & I got married, he owned a 1999 Tahoe. I liked it but he sold it for his El Camino, which he sold for his Toyota truck! His old Tahoe was fun but I like the new body style of our new one!!

Now that I think about it, We have had A LOT of cars together!! Crazy!

Waffle Night

I started a new calling a few weeks ago teaching Sunday school to the 16-17 year olds in our ward! I love it!! They're such a great class! I had them over tonight for waffles and getting to know each other better! I can't believe how sweet these guys are!

CornField Maze

Dusty, Brooke, Shaun & I went to the cornfield maze last night! It was so much fun. We completed the maze in 7 minutes! Apparently we made all the right turns.
We went and looked at the animals and Dusty fed the mini horse. :)

Flower Beds

Dustin and I decided that our front yard flower beds could use some mulch to make them look better. So I send Dusty to Home Depot to buy a few bags. Meanwhile, I left to go to a Vinyl Lettering party and when I got back, I saw this....


Now, don't get me wrong, I was very happy that Dusty went and took care of the flower beds like we talked about, I was just a little suprised! Talk about Red!!! I guess I should have been more specific on the color. I just assumed we both knew what we were talking about!!! If you ask Dusty, he will say that the flower beds look fabulous! Crazy man!

Pumpkin Carving

We had a Pumpkin Carving Contest this weekend with some friends! The boys were all competitive and so we had handed out 1st place ribbons and prizes! We had a lot of fun!

Babysitting

Babysitting..the story of my life!
My first time I ever went babysitting was 2 weeks after my 12th Birthday. I continued to babysit for the next 4 years practicly every Friday and Saturday. By this time I am 15/16 years old and am now "Nannying" ALL the time. I was working part-time and babysitting FULL-TIME!! I continued Nannying until I graduated high school and then went to straight working. I started "over-night weekend" babysitting at age 17 and have continued ever since to this very day! :)
I'm not complaing my any means, I just wanted to point it out! :)

A new ring

Dusty gave me a new ring!! I love it! He got it from Fresno Jewelry Mart! I love everything they have there! Its gold/white gold! I've been super into rings and gold lately so I was extrememly pleased with this!

Welcome Home!!

My oldest brother, Bradley, came home today!!! We are so excited for him to back home! I missed him so much while he was gone for 6 months! He looks good and he has mutured soo much! I love and appreciate Brad so much more now!

San Fran #1

Dusty and I went for a quick trip to San Francisco! We had an appointment so we decided to stay a little longer and look around. We went to a nice lunch, went and looked around at the strip-mall and walked around. We went to the Nordstroms there looking for a Dogeared neckless for me but we were unsucessful! I was quite sad about it! The trip was quick but still nice to get away!
I don't have any pictures but I will take some next time we go!

Rebecca

This past week my cousin Rebecca Dorfmier Leonard past away. She was loved by her husband, Jared and 3 children. She will be forever missed. Our thought and prayers go out to my cousins family.

Work-Experience

I started the work experience program and I am now on my way to receiving my RDA license! I am very excited!
More details to come!

FrontSight

Dustin and his family went to Frontsight this weekend for a hand gun training course! He learned self-defense tactics and situational awareness! (He told me that part :)!) He had a blast!
Dusty was there for two days at this well-known training class. He didn't take any pictures and I wasn't there so we don't have any! I am going to check with his mom to see if they took any! I'm glad he was able to go away and have a good time!
Ps. During this time I was babysitting 5 kids for 4 days ALL BY MYSELF! I survived..barely. :)

Exactly 8 years ago our country was attacked and changed forever.
