Random Pictures

We went to Farmer's Market in Clovis this weekend! Mallory AND Colton rode the horses! Mal had a blast as usual and Colton wasn't so sure but he didn't cry! :) We also reserved 2 horses for Mallory's 3rd Birthday Party! Oops...I may or may not be getting out of control with this.
The kids LOVE bath time! Thank heavens! Mallory is still obsessed with tea-parties! She is trying to teach Colton to only pretend to drink the water and not actually drink it!
I got Eyelash extensions this week! Fun! I love them so far! You wake up looking ready to go!!
Mallory is a little Diva. She has been running around the house with this crazy wig all week. It's very cute. (I kind of can't stand it though because it leaves hair every where on the floor and Colton tries to eat it!)

4 day weekend!

Dustin and I took the kids to Johns Incredible Pizza! Stephanie & Tucker came and Jaclyn, Brixton & Brynley came too!! So fun!
The kids had a blast. Mallory loves the train they have there.

The kids took a bath in the kitchen sink tonight! Much easier on me. This way I don't have to get in with them or bend over. Worked great. Good thing Mal is soo tiny!
I made homemade strawberry freezer jam!
I just love that stuff. I seriously ate some almost everyday since last summer! So happy to finally have some back in my house!
I take a picture of the kids almost everyday.
We like to send them to Daddy at work.
Here are a few of my favorite from this week.
Dustin and I went on a date.
We went to Texas Roadhouse for dinner and then to Blackbeards for Mini Golf.
We had a nice night together talking without kid interruption!

8 Months Old

Mr. Colton Is 8 Months Old!
Love this growing and changing boy!

Colton is so happy and easy going. He loves to play with Mallory and loves when she talks to him!
He has become a lot more interested in peek-a-boo. He laughs the hardest at this.
Colton is crawling like crazy! He is crawling from the front room to the kitchen and even to the playroom. He was able to go up the set from the play room to the kitchen for the first time today! Good job Colty-Poo! (Mallory's new nick name for Colton)
Still no teeth! Sooo weird! Still drooling like crazy!
Colton LOVES to eat! He is constantly crying for more food.
He enjoys strawberries, bananas, graham crackers, dairy-free melts, puffs and well, anything else. He is pretty much eating everything we eat.
Today he ate pancakes with homemade strawberry jam! Yum!
Colton prefers to stand or sit on his buns but definitely not laying on his back!

Love our little chunker!

Last Swim Lesson!

Mallory had her last swim lesson at Jan Thomas Swim School this week!
She did great!! We really enjoyed having teacher Samantha! She is a sweetheart!
During this last lesson, I was able to join Mallory in the pool!
Sam taught me how to continue teaching Mallory how to swim!

She knows how to:
 swim across the pool
swim to the wall and climb out
jump in and swim to me
jump in, turn around and climb out
swim thru hoops
and
swim and then stand up in the shallow end
Mallory received a reward for being a champion swimmer!

Proud of our girl!

After 30 years at Dr. Bogle's office, Elaine (our office manager) retired today!
We are going to miss that crazy lady!
We had a surprise dinner party at Bobby Salazar's restaurant for her!
So many people who love her came! We had a great night!! Here are a few pictures!

Oh and a few pictures from earlier at the office!

Mother's Day!

Happy Mother's Day!

What a nice time of the year!
The weather is warming up and the sun is staying out later. It really lifts my spirits!

Saturday night Dustin gave me a sweet card and a t-shirt. He knew I wanted clothes but wasn't sure what to get so he just got one shirt and said for Becca and I to go look for more! I got a few items! Very excited to try some new looks out.

Sunday we went to a nice little church service and then to my parent's house.
The kids looked so cute! Colton has a white church shirt that finally fits! He is getting sooo big and I'm really enjoying his ever-growing hair! He looks so handsome with it all gelled up!
My mom brought over a new outfit for Mallory the other day so she wore that!
I wore one of my new shirts I got with Becca last night!
Unfortunately, I didn't get any pictures at my moms house!
I think I was just too busy chasing the kids and helping with dinner, that I forgot!
My mom liked the cell phone case Brooke and I got her and the caramels.
We had a nice time eating homemade tacos and swimming with Mallory!

My heart is so full as I write this post but I'm not always good with writing them down!
I'm so grateful that the Lord blessed us with Mallory and Colton.
I will be forever indebted to my Savior for trusting Dustin and I with these sweet souls.

Some of my favorite things about Mallory lately are:
Her tiny little voice. She has the cutest little Minnie Mouse voice.
She is so genuinely kind. Dustin will some times teasingly ask Mallory for her candy and she gives it to him every time! We've been lucky to have not experienced the strong "No" stage!
Her love for her brother. She is such a big helper!
Her obsession with Ariel or really any mermaid item
So glad she has been eating more lately! Bean Burritos are a big hit right now!

Some of my favorite things about Colton right now are:
His genuine smile towards everyone! He lights up when people talk to him!
(Mallory was a lot more shy when she was this age)
His love for eating!!! He will try anything and I mean anything! He lounges toward any fork! It's really fun watching his face while he is trying something new! He loves those strawberry applesauce packets and graham crackers!

Here is a picture of both of the kids at 7 months!
Mallory was 14.5 pounds and Colton is 18 pounds.
Oh goodness!

Bowling and More

I know this is a super blurry phone picture but I love the moment I was trying to capture!
Mallory has a shopping cart at home I bought her last Christmas and she pushes it everywhere! She loves to put her most favorite things in there. We jokingly call her a bag lady! Ha! She's really good at hoarding all her stuff in there! Anyway, last week I went to Savemart instead of my usual Costco/Winco trip and Mallory was in heaven! She had the best time collecting items from around the store and putting them in her basket! She looked super cute in her high heel flip flops!
I loved seeing her so happy!
We had swim lessons again this week! Mallory is on lesson 8 of 12. She did great again today! She didn't cry at all this lesson! That's great! So far, she knows how to swim in the shallow end then stand up so in case she falls in she can just stand. She knows how to climb to the wall and pull herself out and swim to her teacher with her eyes open! She loves to get a snack from the Duck Hut after each lesson and a mermaid stamp!
Doesn't she look so cute in her sunnies?!
Thursday was Mallory's last Music Class with Miss Angie!
Mallory has really enjoyed her Kindermusik class over the last 16 weeks. I have seen a change in Mallory's confidence and social skills. She has really come out of her shell! I am also very proud of her manners. Mallory is so good at waiting her turn for an instrument and sitting nicely during reading time! I'm glad Colton could come too to see and hear different sounds! He seems to enjoy music too!
Brixton was able to come with us today! He had a great time exploring different sounds! Mallory likes to hang out with Brixton a lot!
Becca and I took the girls (and Colty) to Costco on Saturday morning! The are so cute together!
Mallory likes to talk to Blake like she's a baby even though, Blake can easily take care of herself! Blake is so sweet and allows Mal to be in charge. Um, wonder where she gets that from?!
Just enjoying a little Costco pizza.
On Saturday night, we went bowling!! We haven't been there in a while so it was fun! This was Mallory and Colton's first time! Mallory had a great time "pushing" the ball down the lane. Colton enjoyed a few snacks and being held/ rocked to sleep by TeeTee. It was a fun night!

Mother's Day Gifts

I have a few Mother's Day gift ideas!
Brooke and Shaun came over and took these cute picture of Nonna's grandkids!

Brooke and I wanted to make our mom a phone case! She's going to be getting the new iPhone 5 this month and thought this would be a cute gift!
We ordered it from a cute place called His and Hers printing (http://www.etsy.com/shop/hhprint)
Great customer service! The shops turn around time states 1-2 weeks but Kim at HHPrint sent me this proof less than 24 hours later! I was very happy and impressed!
Cute, huh?!

I recently heard about these amazing, melt-in-your-mouth caramels from Amy at Little Hip Squeaks! (I follow her on FB & Instagram, you can find her here: https://www.facebook.com/littlehipsqueak
I've been dying to try them and thought this would also be a perfect gift for Mother's Day!
Nicole at The Caramel Jar (http://www.etsy.com/shop/TheCaramelJar) has been AMAZING to work with! First of all, I ordered on a Sunday night and Monday morning, she posted a 20% coupon code for Earth Day! I was so sad that I didn't have that coupon the night before so I simply emailed her to let her know I barely missed it. Within a few minutes, she had already credited my account back without any questions. She could have easily said, I'm sorry the coupon is for today only!
Then after I ordered, Nicole noticed that I had mentioned these would be for Mother's Day and she asked me if I could like her to wait and have them come out a week later so the caramels could remain fresh. How nice and thoughtful! She also let me choose which color ribbons I would like!
I received my caramels today! The box was amazing all by it's self!
The jars were safely wrapped in bubble wrap with a cute sticker on the outside. There was a personalized note from Nicole, a sample bag for me and a business card!
I really appreciate the time and effort Nicole is putting into her business. She went above and beyond anything I could have expected! The jars look sooo cute! Love them!
The caramels are AMAZING! I love the small hint of salt! To die for!
I will definitely be ordering again soon!
Thanks so much The Caramel Jar!

We celebrated Mother's Day early with Mimi Kim because she is going to be out of town!
Kim and David are taking Kynan to the MTC this week! We are so excited KeyKey will be serving a mission!
We went to Cheesecake Factory for dinner. The kids did great! The food was yummy as usual and Kim liked her gift! Yay!
