27 Weeks!

How far along? 27 Weeks (6 1/2 Months)
Total weight gain/loss: +12 pounds according to Dr Mason!
Wearing any maternity clothes? Yes! I'm loving my new maternity shorts!
Stretch marks? Yep, just the one 1 on my right hip
Sleep: Not bad! Having to go the bathroom gets me up 3 or 4 times a night!
Best moment this week: Helping Dustin feel Colton!
Missing anything: Nope, not really!
Baby Movement: Feeling hard spots where the baby's head may be!
Food cravings: Nothing this week!
Anything making you queasy or sick: Just pizza and spaghetti.
Have you started to show yet: Definitely. Just now starting to look more pregnant and not just fat.

4th of July

We had a great 4 of July! First we went out to eat with Chad and Tiffany to Ihop!

Then we had a BBQ at Nonna and Papa's house where Mallory swam with Papa, Uncle Brent and Daddy!

We walked to Buchanan again this year! Love it! Here are some of the adults playing games while waiting for the Firework show to start!

Mallory loved having all of her favorite people together in one place! Here she is making her rounds visiting with everyone and showing them the fireworks in the sky!

Fish Hatchery & Park

A few friends and I have been taking the kids to do fun things around town! Here are a few pictures of things we have done so far!
Fish Hatchery in Friant, CA for Free! Walk around and feed the fish! The sides were low enough for Mallory to see without me holding her up! She had a great time except towards the end when she scraped her knees and they started to bleed! Poor girl loves to run when she gets excited!

Todd Beamer Water Splash Park! Wesley, McKay & Mallory! This park has the best $3 snow cones! Yum!!

Vinyl Lettering

The girls from my work bought me and early Baby Shower gift! We found a super cute Vinyl lettering decal from Etsy that had our airplane theme! Dustin was able to put it up tonight! Isn't it sooo cute!! Love it!! We're super excited for Colton to get here!! Can't wait to meet him!

Early Birthday Gift

We gave Mallory one of her 2nd birthday gifts early! We got her a battery operated Barbie quad! She has been on this thing ever since!! Love to watch her so excited!

Horse Ride

Mallory is OBSESSED with Horses! She loves to read books with horses and watch movies! She loves to wave to them on the way to Mimi's house! Last night, we went to Farmers Market and Mallory saw the horses and almost died! We let her ride the horse and she had a great time! You can't really tell by this video but she is having the time of her life! Yay! Love our little girl!

Library

Nicole & I took the kids to the library this morning for story time! This was our first experience with story time! Mallory loved it! She was a little nervous at first and wouldn't get off my lap but when the toys came out, she jumped right up! Both the kids did great the whole hour and then after we read some books by ourselves! Yay! Can't wait to go back!



Mimi Kim bought Mals her 1st Barbie! Mallory loves her!

Island WaterPark!

A few girls from work and a few girls from church bought Island Waterpark season passes! Costco had a great deal going so I bought a season pass! Yay! The best part is Mallory is still under 3 so she is free! I wanted to take tons of pictures on our first venture out there but I didn't want my camera to get ruined! Here is Cami & Mals on the way out there and then a few of the kids eating! We had a great day!!

 

Baby Dockstader will be named..

Picking out a baby name for a boy is HARD!! But, Dustin and I have finally come up with a name for our baby boy!! It took several list and conversations to get down to "the one"! I have several girl names I love but very few boy names! I feel boy names are either too popular(Liam), bible-ish(Matthew), too mixed gender(Riley) or girly(Tristian)! Also, we have a lot of Dockstader cousins with the names I love, like Carter, Grant, Greyson, Jacob and Caden.

Baby Dockstader will be named....COLTON! Yay!!
Colton means Cole's town which isn't very exciting but we weren't looking for a name with a very specific meaning. Colton was #74 in 2011 on the baby name list so not too popular but not so uncommon that you haven't heard it!

The middle name was easy because we wanted it to be the same as Dustin's and his dads!
Dustin's dad's name is Bryan David and then my husband is Dustin David so we wanted the baby to be something David.

I'm just excited to finally have a name picked out! We told Mallory the baby's name and she is very excited! I love listening to her attempt to say Colt! Mallory still loves to kiss my tummy! She does think there is a baby is Daddy's tummy too tho! ha. Yay!

24 Weeks!

This week, I had 3 different OB appointments! The first was on Monday for an echo-cardiogram ultrasound. I'm still having to go to the specialist Dr Helm because I was an Invetro patient so the Echo is an ultrasound they require. The ultrasound tech girl said everything looks great!
Tuesday I had a regular ultrasound with Deb also at Dr. Helms and she gave me some cute 3D pictures! She said it is a little early for these so she will do it again in 4 weeks at my next appointment in hopes of better images! The baby kept putting his hands in front of his face! Deb said baby Boy is 1 lb, 11 oz which is great cause 1 lb, 4 oz is normal for this time. :)
