Thanksgiving

 We had a very fun and busy Thanksgiving this year! We started at the Nonna & Papa's house. We ate a very yummy thanksgiving dinner including all my favorite dishes! Turkey, homemade stuffing, mash potatoes, salad and marshmallow yams! We read a little about Thanksgiving history and played a Thanksgiving trivia game! Mallory had a great time practicing tummy time on the floor with Colton and riding on Papa's back! Mallory loved her Turkey outfit! She smiled so big when I showed her in the mirror! We looked at Ads and planned out a trip to get all of Mallory's favorite toys! My parents went to the movies and we headed to meet up with Mimi & Papa!

 

 Mimi & Papa ate with the Galli's this year! We met up with them after dinner for swimming in their heated pool and spa. Mallory had a great time with Daddy, Uncle Ry-Ry and Sissy in the pool! She cried when she had to get out for dessert! We ate Mimi's homemade chocolate and coconut pies! I also enjoyed a Costco pumpkin pie! After swimming and dessert, Mallory came inside and played house with her new friends, Gigi & Savannah! It was a great year!



I'm so thankful for all of our many blessings this year! We have truly been blessed in our lives but especially this year with the birth of Colton and Dustin landing a permanent job at PG&E. We could not ask for anything more! Love our little family!!

2 Months Old

Baby Colton is 2 months old today! Yay! He is getting big!

Colton is a great sleeper! He loves to sleep on his tummy! He is taking 3 to 4 naps a day. Colt sleeps pretty good at night. He starts off with a 4 to 4 1/2 hour stretch, eats and then goes back to sleep for 2 to 3 hours, eats then sleeps for about another 2 hours then gets up for the day!

Colt is a great eater! He would eat all day everyday if he could! I am still breastfeeding my little baby Colt. We started him on a bottle (I'm pumping) so that we can go places. He has been taking it pretty good! Colton seems to take the bottle better from Dustin than me, I think because he can smell me and wants the real thing. I was scared he wasn't going to want to take a bottle because he still refuses to take a pacifier. :( I am still (trying) not eating any diary products which is going GREAT! I am so glad I figured that out. Colt is a much happier baby! He doesn't cry all day of gas pains anymore! He still gets a little bit of gas but not the fist clinching screams!

 Colton has been doing better and better everyday at playing on his play mat! He still has a short attention span but enjoys looking up at the toys! Colt loves to lay on daddy's chest and smile, coo and laugh a little! Mallory loves when Colton smiles!

We sure do love loving on this little man!

Here is a picture of the little man next to the measuring moose! We are still not very good at getting a happy picture! I can get him to smile all day long but once I put him down and pull out the camera, he starts looking around and trying to eat his hands!

Colton saw Dr Jones today!

Colt weighs 11 lbs, 10 oz & is 23 3/4 inches long.

He has gained just about 4 pounds since he was born!

Colton had 4 shots & a medicine drink today! Poor baby! He did really good and slept the whole ride home! Colton had the Polio, HIB, PNUcon and ROTAVIRU shots and then the DTP drink! His next shots and drink are in January when he is 4 months old!

I dread the day when Colton no longer fits on my chalkboard! :(

I think the Nurse measured Colton wrong at his 1 month appointment for his height because he didn't grow at all. Lupe, our regular girl, wasn't there last time! I don't know! ha!

Just about 8 weeks!

Our little man is just about 8 weeks old! Here is a fun collage of a few of his faces! So cute!

1st Dental Visit

Mallory had her first ever dental visit this week! Mallory did great for her first time! She let Dr Brent Powell (Pediatric Dentist) take a look in her mouth and "count" her teeth! She has 16 teeth and had no caries! Yay! Mallory will be getting 4 more molars before she is 3 years old! Mallory got a new pink toothbrush, a SpongeBob toothpaste, a pink balloon, a Tinkerbell sticker and a kitty book! Wow! I was too busy helping out little girl that I only managed to get a picture in the car after everything was done! Can't wait to take her back to my office to clean her teeth with "Mr Wiggles & Miss sprinkles"

 Here are a few random pictures from this week! Nonna was rocking baby Colton asleep for us but Mallory wanted Nonna to hold her so Nonna was nice enough to rock both kids!

7 Weeks Old

Colton started smiling this week! I am so excited I was able to catch it on camera! Here is Dustin playing with baby Colt! The pictures aren't the best because I was trying to take the picture from the side of the bed! :( I'll get some straight on this week!

Daddy

Mallory has become quite the Daddy's girl over the past few weeks! It is so fun to watch them become closer! Dustin has always been great with Mallory but their relationship is growing! Here are a few random pictures of the kids and Dustin.

6 Weeks Old!

 This little guy is 6 weeks old! Yay! He is getting so big! I weighed him on our scale this morning and he is 11 pounds! After Colton and Mallory's bath this morning, I threw them up on my bed to take a few pictures! Colt is getting some rolls!

Love that she loves him!
