Shaver Lake

This weekend we went up to Shaver Lake and stayed in our neighbors cabin! We had a blast! We took Mallory to Shave Lake Pizza, to get a snow cone and to the lake! We rented a paddle boat since I can't really go on the jet-ski's right now and Mallory loved it! She saw ducks and fed them crackers and loved splashing around! We made s'mores at the cabin and ate BBQ hamburgers! We had a great time getting away from the hot weather and enjoyed some alone time as a family for 3 days!

28 Week Chalkboard

This week I also saw Dr Mason for our regular 2 week check-up! He said we are doing great! I'm going to do the glucose test this week! :( I heard its a lot of fun! Ha! (Update: I passed)
How far along? 28 Weeks (7 Months)
Total weight gain/loss: +13 pounds according to Dr Mason!
Wearing any maternity clothes? Yes! I got a few shirts from Kim this week!
Stretch marks? Yep, just the one 1 on my right hip
Sleep: Not bad! Having to go the bathroom gets me up 3 or 4 times a night!
Best moment this week: Having Dustin at the 3D Ultrasound
Missing anything: No
Baby Movement: Feeling hard spots where the baby's head may be!
Food cravings: Nothing this week!
Anything making you queasy or sick: Over-eating!
Have you started to show yet: Definitely! My scrubs are getting pretty tight! Ha!

28 Weeks

This week Dustin and I went to our regular 4 week check-up with Dr. Helm's office. I'm just about 28 weeks along! The ultrasound tech said Colton is looking great! He is measuring 29 weeks, 2 days which is great because he's going to be delivered early. Colton is measuirng 82% overall. Yay! We were able to get a few more 3D pictures today! It was so fun to see his little face! I enjoyed having Dustin at this appointment not only to share with him but because he probably won't be able to make it to anymore appointments! He starts his new job this week and doesn't get vacation days for a while! But we are excited for his new job! :) Here are the pictures!

New Job

We are SUPER ExCiTeD to annouce that Dustin got a job at PG&E as an Electric Mapper in Merced! After years of applying, praying and hoping, we finally got the job!!!! I could not be more grateful for the opportunity Dustin has to work for PG&E. This job has so many great benefits! The pay is amazing, the hours are amazing, and there are so many possibilities to move up in the company! Dustin started today (after 3 weeks of background checks) and said everyone was really nice and he thinks he is really going to enjoy it!  Dustin is going to miss working for his Dad at the auto repair shop though! The shop has been a great job for our family for the last 3 years!

Tonight we went out to Cool Hand Lukes to celebrate!

Mallory's 2nd Birthday Party!

Can you believe our tiny angel is 2 years old?! I can't believe that on this day 2 years ago, we were in Tennessee bringing home the most beautiful miracle baby girl! We are so lucky and blessed to have Mallory in our lives. We are grateful for her love, fun spirit, sweet smile, and silly personality! Tonight we had a small family party instead of a big birthday party because we bought Mallory this:

2 Year Old Pictures

We are soooo lucky to have a sister and brother-in-law who has a photography business!! I love it! Shaun and Brooke came over tonight and took pictures of Mallory for her 2nd Birthday!! Can you believe our tiny angel is 2 years old!! Crazy how time flies! We love our baby girl and can't get enough of her! Here are a few of my favorite pictures!!!!

Circus

The Circus came to town this week and we took Mallory for her 1st Circus experience. Mallory did great! She was completely mesmerized the 1st hour by the horses (her favorite), the elephants and the lions/tigers! During intermission, Nonna got Mallory a glow-in-the dark neckless which helped entertain her the 2nd hour! We were glad that Nonna & Papa, Mimi & Pop and Cami were able to go with us! The had a great time watching Mallory get so excited! We were able to get great seats too! We sat in the 3rd row just above the VIP section! Mallory could see great! Can't wait to go back next year!
