This week, we bought our very first baby gate. We didn't buy it for Sawyer or even Mallory. We bought it for Colton. He has a hard time sleeping in his room during nap time. He wants to get out and play. I use to lay with him after we read books until he falls asleep but I just don't have time for that anymore. I'm hoping by keeping the door open but the gate closed so he can see me when needed that he'll stay put and help himself go to sleep. I'll still read him and Mallory one or two books and sing a song but then I'm out of there.
