I've never been a dog lover but something has happened to me!!
Dustin wanted to buy a dog so I finally let him buy his favorite kind of dog last April. We searched all over craigslist for a Boxer. And eventually I gave in!
Addison was born February 13th 2008. We picked her up a few weeks later. She came from a very sweet couple. I'm not going to lie, I had a bit of a hard time at first. We had Addy in an apartment, which is not always ideal for a large breed dog! Soon, I grew to love her. I found myself wanting to take her for walks, teaching her to sit and stay with treats and even allowing her to sleep on the foot of our bed! Needless to say I have fallen in love with this little girl!
A few months later, I decided that maybe we could get Addy a friend. I called the lady we bought Addy from and she was having another batch of puppies! Addy turned out so calm so I hoped I could get lucky again!
Emily was born March 8th 2009. We were the first to pick from 8 other puppies. Her owners called her Diamond because of the spot on her back! Dustin liked her because she would cuddle up to you but she would also be feisty! We absoultly love her! She has been a great addition to our family!
This leads me to the question: How did this happen to me?!?!!
I went from not liking dogs at all to loving them! I've turned soft! haha!
I just think my "Girls" are the cutest things in the world! :)
Heres a picture of the girls from today. I wanted to take a picture of us all together for my brothers postcard! It turned out pretty cute, I think!
My dad came out to see our "Girls" too!

Fathers Day
This is for my wonderful Father on Fathers Day.
My siblings and I made a book for my Dad of all the things we love/admire/like about him along with a few pictures. Heres a few things I put about my Dad and about Dustin's Dad, David.
My dad is a great cook! I loved how every morning before seminary, my Dad would get up and have breakfast waiting for me. He always made things that I could take on the go. My favorite were those egg burritos!
My dad always shows respect to others but especially to my mother. He always stands by her and I respect him for that.
I admire my Dads willingness to help. My dad is also very detail oriented. He helped us a lot with the house and he did a great job! He always helps out even if he is tired from work.
My Father-in-law is also a hard worker! He's helped us move back and forth and remodel the house. He has never complained or said no, even if he was tired.
I love my Dad because he is willing to help build model airplanes with Dustin.
My Father-in-law also loves to build model airplanes with Dustin!
My Dad and David have always been there for me and Dustin.
I love my Dad very much and David too.
Happy Fathers Day!
Hopefully by this time next year, I may be able to say this to my own husband! :)

Last Day of School
Dusty and I babysat again this weekend. The kids were saying that their Mom always takes "First Day of School" and "Last Day of School" pictures to see how much they have grown. I had them on the last day of school this year! I was getting ready to pick them up and could not find the camera anywhere so we took a picture at my house later. Theres a picture of those cute kids. This is for you Emily!

Remodel Continues
Dustin and I bought more flooring last night for the den/family room/dogs room. We bought another laminate cherry wood flooring. It is different than the flooring in the front room/hallways. We will be putting the same flooring in the kitchen so that it flows well. David (Dustin's Dad) was nice enough to come help us put it in down after work! Heres a few pictures of before, during and after!
