Dad's Birthday!

Today is my Dads Birthday!! He is 53 years old this year!! We gave him a fun gift this year...the FLU! No, but seriously we did! Sorry Dad!! Love you!

The Nasty Flu

We got hit (hard) with the FLU BUG!! Last week when I arrived to drop off Mallory for Daycare, the girl told me that 3 kids were out with the flu! She said the other 2 were fine so Mallory shouldn't catch it from them! She was wrong!! The following day Mallory threw up 6 times! This is her first time ever having the flu! Because Dustin & I were taking care of Mals, we both ended up with the Flu too!! Ahh!! Heres a picture of poor Mals!

10 Months & Walking

Mallory is a WALKING MACHINE! She has been trying to walk for weeks now and it wasn't until she had the help of Fisher Price's "Learning Walker" that she was able to do it sucessfully! Mals is so tiny so she looks so funny walking!! Here are 2 videos that I took today!

Grizzlies Game

We went to the Fresno Grizzlies Baseball Game this weekend! We had a great time! Mallory did surprisingly good! She looked adorable in her SanFran Giant's outfit!! Here are a few pictures from the night!

Mothers Day

This year was my 1st Mothers Day!! We were in Arizona but Dustin was able to still make it special for me! He bought me flowers, balloons and a card! Dustin & my Dad took me, my mom & brothers out to Texas Roadhouse for lunch! It was great! I am so lucky to be Mallory's Mommy and to have her in my life! I love her sooo much! I am also grateful to have a great mother & mother-in-law!

Arizona Trip

We went to Arizona! Dustin, Me & Mallory had the opportunity to fly to Arizona with my parents, my 2 brothers and my grandma! We had a blast! We went out to dinner to this great Mexican restaurant.

DayCare

I started taking Mallory to Daycare today! :( I'm taking her 1 day a week for socialization and to give my mother-in-law a break! Plus, I need a place I can take Mallory when I have an emergency (IE...Kim gets sick or if I have a Dr appt)! She cried today (and I did too) but Stacey said she did pretty good for her first time! I actually feel really good about it! I know Stacey pretty well. She lives close to us, and after going over her Daycare plans, we can tell she has a very stretchered environment. I stayed with Mallory for an hour this morning and she didn't even realize I was there! She loved seeing the other 4 kids and all the new toys! I think its going to be a good thing! Here is Mallory right before we left this morning. There is always something in that girls mouth!

10 months!

Mallory is 10 months old!!! I can't believe she is getting so big!! Today at her 9/10 month physical, Mallory weighed 16 pounds, 1 ounce (25 percentile). She is 26 2/4 inches tall (25 percentile). Her head circumference is 17 1/4 inches. Dr Jones said she is doing great! Mallory is still drinking 4 to 6oz bottles of Enfamil Premium Formula 4 to 5 times a day with 3 to 4 meals. She loves cookies, fruit puffs, goldfish & Cheetos for snacks! She loves to walk around the couch and she takes 5 to 7 steps on her own! Mallory is just dying to walk! We love her more & more everyday!

Allie's Baby Shower

My best friend, Allie, from High School is having a baby Boy!! I was able to help out with her baby shower! It turned out great!! Here is a picture of Stephanie, Allison & Me!

Easter 2011

This year was Mallory's First Easter!! We were so excited to go and spend the day with both sides of the family! Mallory loved opening up her Easter Basket! Out of all the toys, her favorite thing was the $2 plastic eggs!! We put some coins inside so she could shake them around! We really enjoyed watching her! Ha :) She is so cute! Here are a few pictures from the day!

Dustin and I took Mallory to see the Easter Bunny! Don't judge me but, I took the this picture at Fashion Fair Mall first ...

and I liked it but then I heard that Sierra Vista Mall had LIVE Bunnies and I liked that much better!

Wicked!!

My parents bought us Wicked tickets for Christmas this past year for the Wicked performance showing in Fresno in April! :) Dustin and I, Brooke & Shaun and my parents went out o Sakanya Japanese Resturant for dinner first! We had a great night!!

Grandma Billie

My husband's grandma passed away this week. It was very hard on all of us! She was a great woman who loved Dustin very much! We will miss her!

9 Months!

Mallory is 9 months old!! She is getting so big!! I can't believe how fast time has gone! Seriously. Here are 5 things I know about Mallory:
1. Shes gets sick A LOT! :( We take Mallory to see Dr. Jones like every 2 weeks! She has this viral herpes infection in the back of her throat! She has a hard time drinking her bottles and shes very fussy! So we give her Acyclovir for 5 days and then Mallory is all better!! This picture is from Dr. Jones office today!

2. Mallory is SASSY! If you are doing something she doesn't like, she will let you know it!! Dustin thinks I have ruined her because every time Mallory gets a little angry, I hurry and fix it!! But I don't care, I love it!
3. Mallory can make your heart melt! She just started making this cute face! She lifts her shoulders up and everything!
4. Mallory is a great Sleeper! She takes 3 naps a day and at night she sleeps from 10pm to 7am! (Except for the occasional pacifier at 3am!) Don't be Jealous!
5. Mallory loves to go for walks! My mom, sister and I have been walking around Buchanan 3 nights a week and Mallory loves to sit in her stroller! She was laughing so much the other night! She sat great in her stroller for the whole 2 miles!
We love Mallory so much and are grateful for her more and more everyday!!
