Music Class

I took Mallory to this KinderMusik Class today!

Mallory was a little nervous at first because we didn't know anyone there but she ended up loving it!

She did a great job! I was busy holding Colton so I wasn't able to help play music with Mallory as much as I would have liked to but it was good!

The theme was "Christmas Jingle" so there were a lot of wintery activities!

Miss Angie threw "snow" on the ground and the kids picked it up and threw it around. She also brought plates to use as ice skates and the kids walked on them!

Mallory got to take home her own "instrument" and a CD for the car! The class was really fun!

I think we will probably enroll in the January class! Yay!
Here's a few pictures! I didn't get anything great because I was holding Colt and I only had my phone! Next time! Mals had a cute bow in her hair but she ripped it out in the car. That girl!

 

When we got home, we relaxed and watched a show together! Love my cute kids!

Everyday Pictures

Loving the Christmas season! Pumpkin spice hot chocolate! Heaven in a cup!!

We've been doing a lot of this lately!

Looking at the Christmas lights down Cindy Lane. Mallory loves it! She loves to get in the front seat with Daddy and Nonna and "drive"! Colton has slept through most of the trips but I'm sure he will love it next year! I want to take Mallory on the horse sleigh ride but I can't seem to figure out how to get on it!! Weird!!!

Mallory's hair is getting out of control once again! Well actually, I guess I never really had a good hold on it in the first place. Poor girl. First she didn't have any and then she had that mullet but we got it cut so it looked cute for a while and now its growing out again but mostly on top! Mimi Kim likes to put Mals hair in puffs so that's fun every now and then!

Colton is growing and changing everyday! He is starting to get so fun!! He still makes these crazy serious faces but she smiles too! The other day I had him laying down on his play mat while I made Mallory lunch and I came back to find him smiling and laughing at himself. It was the cutest thing! So I grabbed the mirror so he could see better and he started to giggle even more!! My sweet baby! Love him!!

We started the Bumbo this week!

At first Colt wasn't very good at holding his head up but by the end of the week we were doing great! He has been eating little amounts of rice cereal! Its fun to watch him try and figure out how to eat from a spoon. I remember when we did that with Mallory. Love baby "firsts"!

 

 I've been pretty good at going for walks almost everyday! We like to go with Kilean! We have gone with Stephanie and Amy though too!

Mallory loves it! She has fallen asleep on me twice though! I usually push her in this cheap umbrella stroller cause she likes it the best! When Colton gets a little older, I'll put them both in the double stroller but for now, Colton is loving the front pack!!

 

Boys Weekend

Dustin went to LA this weekend with Chad to visit their friend Spencer! 

Spencer is getting married next month and so they all wanted to do something fun!

I'm happy they found time to get together because its so hard with Chad in the Masters program, Dustin starting a new job with no time off and a new baby at home and Spence with a full time CHP job and wedding plans!

The went out to breakfast, did some flight simulator thing, looked at Bass Pro shop, ate Philly

cheese-steaks, went mini golfing and ate pizza! Dustin had a blast!

This is left me and kids home alone!

I'm not going to lie! It was a little rough!

Mallory likes a lot of attention and Colt is only 2 mos old so he also needs a lot of attention.

 Not to mention, Colty got the cold Mals decided to share with all of us!

 I got desperate and gave Mallory 2 of her toys that were originally for Christmas!

I'm super glad I did. Both entertained her for quite a while!!

Coloring in her Minnie-Mouse jumbo coloring pad and pushing around her baby in her new stroller!

 We decided to spend one of the nights at Nonnas house so she could help us! Mallory loved sleeping in Nonnas bed and I loved snuggling with my sick Colty in the "green" room!

 There was a lot of crying but eventually Mallory would fall asleep! Thank Heavens!

Somebody didn't want to leave Nonnas house!

 But it worth Dustin ditching me for 3 days when he came home with this beauty!!

A new Michael Kors purse! It was one of Christmas presents but I begged to have it now!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE IT! Dusty did a good job!

Always Sick

So Mallory is always sick!

This girl! I swear! I don't really understand how she gets sick so often but she does.

She doesn't attend a daycare, she doesn't have her tonsils anymore & she on all sorts of vitamins & probiotics! But she manages to catch something every few weeks!

About 2 1/2 weeks ago she started with a cold. Coughing and runny nose. It didn't get better so I took her to the Dr where he said she had strep throat! So he put her on Keflex, her regular throat meds (Zovarax), and a steriod for the cough. She woke up with a fever thats when I finally took her in.

Here is a few pictures from the day I took her to see Dr Jones. She had quite the rough day. She had wet the bed, woke up with a fever, threw up at Dr Jones from the strep culture so we had to take her clothes off! Ha. It was a rough day!

That day and the rest of the week were spent looking like this! 

Mallory falling asleep anywhere because she didn't feel good and making the house a mess! 

I didn't mind because she gave me the cold too!!

New position at work

Dustin started a new position at work this week!

Dustin was originally hired on at PG&E as a hiring hall electric mapper. He is now hired permanently as a gas mapper. Both gas and electric work on the same floor in the Merced building so Dustin already knew a lot of the guys in the gas department and he can still keep his friends and visit in the lunch room with the electric department. He only moved down 3 cubicles from where he was with electric.

Dustin texted me this picture the other day while he was at work! He said I'm all moved over!

I don't know if you can really see but he has a collage picture mouse pad and a framed family picture in the corner. So presh. Ha.

Love him and glad he is loving his new position!

Ward Christmas Party

We had a great time at our ward Christmas Party this year!!

Colton slept through most of it!

 We enjoyed a nice ham dinner with our friends & our other friends kids!

Christmas Tree

Dustin and I took the kids to go find the perfect Christmas tree!

First we started out the night by grabbing sandwiches with Mimi & Papa at Jimmy Johns.

Then we happened to find a lot that had NAY-NAYS! Yay! 

Unfortunately, the horses were fake but the still moved and Mallory LOVED it! She had to ride the ride 3 times! Of course! That girl! :)

We almost didn't get a tree at the Clovis & Herndon lot because the tiny 5 footers were $75!! Dang!

 I was about to send Dustin to Home Depot for a cheap tree but we ended up finding one for $40!

 We got home and Mallory did a great job of helping Mommy decorate! 

 She had a fun time dancing with her Santa while we listened to Christmas music.

It was a nice night! Can't wait to put the presents under the tree to see how excited she gets!

Family Pictures

Dustin and I took our family Christmas pictures today and they turned out great! Shaun always does a great job! Mallory was in a mood so her smile wasn't her best until Daddy started throwing leaves! So happy to finally have a new family picture of all four of us!

Can't wait to see how our Christmas card turns out!

Baby Blessing

Dustin gave baby Colton a name and a blessing today at church!

Dustin was able to bless him with the help of

his Dad, my Dad, Grandpa Dock, Uncle Jerrod, cousin Dean, Dr Bogle and Bishop Pauline

We were so blessed to have a great group of friends and family attend!
