Boys and their Guns

Dusty LOVES his hobbies but he espeically LOVES GUNS! He went out today to shoot guns with my uncles, cousins, my brothers and my dad...A boys day! They had a blast!
I told Dusty before he left to take some pictures with my new camera from Christmas and he came back all proud with 10 pictures! I was so excited because I didn't have any pictures of him doing one of his favorite hobbies..So I start looking thru the camera to see what good pictures he got and he took a bunch of pictures of my family but none of himself!! I really just wanted to have a few of him or at least one that had him in it! But oh well!!

Closer to 30!

HAPPY 26TH BIRTHDAY DUSTY!!!
Dustin is 26 years old today! He is closer to 30 than 20 now! Unfortunately, his birthday is the day after Christmas and he doesn't get all the attention that he deserves! Everyone is busy returning gifts, taking down their Christmas Tree & Lights and cleaning the house. But we try to make it special so we went out to Yoshinos for Teppan Yaki lunch! He loved it! Next year, we're going to celebrate a week or two early so everyone can get together a little more easily!

We drove down Christmas Tree Lane this year a few times! We went down the orginal Christmas Tree Lane on Van Ness, we went down Cherry Ln, Cindy Lane on Alluvial & Peach and the neighborhood by Maple & Behymer. I love to look at lights! the lights seem to get bigger and better every year!

Thanksgiving Day

We had a great THANKSGIVING and I hope everyone else did too! This years movie was "A Christmas Carol" with Jim Carey and it was great! It was a great day full of good food, friends and family! Just the beginning of a great holiday season!

My 22nd Birthday

So I turned 22 years old yesterday. yay!
I hate to say it but birthdays just aren't what they used to be! I still had a great day, its just not that exciting anymore when you're past the age of 21.

Anyways, we went out to Dinner, saw New Moon, my parents gave me some money(I bought a watch and some clothes), Kim gave me a pair of jeans(Joe's), and Dusty gave me a cake!
Now, I bet your thinking, What a lame gift, but NO! I always tell Dustin that I don't really need a gift, just a card and dinner to let me know you are thinking of me. BUT, I also always tell Dustin about how much I love WEDDING CAKE!! I only go to receptions because of the wedding cake! I love the creamy butter cream frosting covered over a white cake with strawberry/raspberry filling. And if I'm lucky, the cake will be covered with FONDET! Pure Sugar!! (I sound super fat saying this)I'm not going to lie, I really do love wedding cake!
So Yes, I got my very own Wedding cake for my birthday! No, I didn't eat it all by myself, I shared it with my family!! So overall I had a great day!

I finally painted our Master Bedroom! I love it! We choose "Steel Blue" by Behr paint! I really wanted the blue because it matched so well with the new bed spread we got at JCPenny home store. I love changing up my room!! Yay!

Pismo

This last weekend we went on vacation to Pismo!! We had such a great time! Probably one of the best times I have had there! We went with some of our friends. One of our friends, Tiffany, had never been to Pismo Beach so it was really exciting for her! We went to Splash Cafe, Moes BBQ, walked on the beach, walked out on the pier in the dark, saw bio-lumencents waves, rode 4-6 person Bike for an hour (Crazy hard), got a 7/11 slurpee (because we almost died riding that bike!!) sat in the Hot Tub/swam in the heated pool (in the hotel next door because our hotels was under construction, ate some Salt Water Taffy, saw the cutest dogs (I really wanted to get one), got a Manicure/Pedicure, went to the Outlets, had dinner at Spencers brothers house, & saw the Monarch butterflies! We packed a lot in on our 3 day trip!

Gratitude

Thanksgiving is just around the corner and I can't help but think of my Dads talks. Before Thanksgiving dinner every year, my dad asks everyone around the table to share a few things we are grateful for. I know that sometimes it can be hard to share what you are grateful for but those people you are grateful for should be told. A few things that I am grateful for:
1. Husband who loves and supports me 2. A good Job 3. A healthy family
I hope that this year as we go thru November/Thanksgiving that we might be able to share with others our gratitude!

Halloween

Every year (for the past 4 years), Dusty and I have gone to my Uncle Jarrods house to participate in his haunted house. Dustin loves it! Mostly because he gets to scare little kids! I like to go because I get to see all the little kids we know and see how cute they are! So the girls pass out candy and the boys scare the little kids and sometimes big kids!
